Brittany Freeman

Brittany

Wellness Coordinator, KSC Fitness Center Supervisor

  • Education: Master of Arts, Sport & Fitness; Bachelor of Science, Biology w/ Kinesiology minor.
  • Certifications: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)-Exercise Physiologist; ACSM-Certified Personal Trainer; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS); AHA Heartsaver Instructor certification; STOP THE BLEED® Instructor certification.

Born and raised in South Carolina, Brittany attended Charleston Southern University as an NCAA student athlete, competing in Cross Country and Track. She continued her education at the University of Central Florida, during which she developed her love for strength training when colleagues introduced her to SealFit. She began her fitness career, personal training in Brevard County, FL before becoming a Fitness Specialist at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in 2015. The best part of working at KSC has been meeting her husband, Troy - The “God Bless” man, in 2017, and since, they have been blessed with two beautiful daughters!

Brittany is a huge advocate for consistency when it comes to fitness. What used to be a three to six-mile run may have become a family one-mile run with their dog, Goose, and a double stroller, and daily workouts may be 10-15 minutes instead of 60-90 minutes, but consistency works. Something is better than nothing, so whether motivated or not, make fitness a non-negotiable part of life, and it should serve you well!
